Win £25 Mothercare Voucher from Post Natal Treatments by Biothecare

****Competition Now Closed – Congratulations to Victoria Wilkinson****

Magic Wand for Post Pregnancy Stretch Marks?

Stretch marks, weight gain and skin flaccidity are a common factor during & after pregnancy, that’s just how it is I’m afraid. Whilst a small proportion of women celebrate these post pregnancy issues the vast majority would love to wave a magic wand and bounce back to how they were before pregnancy.

No Magic Wand Here I’m Afraid….But…..

A company called Biothecare Estetika who specialise in non-invasive treatments as a true alternative to surgery say their clients are achieving fantastic results in a totally safe and effective way for just a fraction of the cost of going under the knife.

Barry Oakhill – Managing Director of  Biocare Aesthetics Companies (UK) said:

“We have many different post-natal treatments which we can use after natural child birth or C Section.

Using Electrostimulation and Radiofrequency we have regained our clients’ confidence by reducing the slacking skin around the stomach.

Radiofrequency is a non-invasive treatment which breaks down the old collagen and elastin and rebuilds new, giving a more lifted and tightened contour, combined with Electrostimulation which uses electrical pulses to lift and tone you can get the stomach you once had.

Using IPL (Intense pulsed light) Photorejuvenation, we can reduce the appearance of pink and purple stretch marks; the IPL is attracted and draws out the pigment and impurities under and on the surface of the skin, reducing the colour of the stretch mark at the same time as regenerating the cell production to help tighten and shrink the scar tissue.

Our clients have seen great results with these treatments, and we are very confident your readers at BabysFirstCalendar.co.uk will too.”

These post-natal treatments are currently available in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Ipswich and Leicester branches – soon to be London and the North West.

  1. I haven’t used anything like that, I did use Bio-Oil during my pregnancy to reduce the amount of stretch marks. I have quite a few on my tighs, boobs, belly and bum. As much as I don’t like them I would never have treatment because when I look at them I think of my wonderful daughter :)

    • Danny Danny says:

Yep that’s exactly what I was referring to at the start of post – quite a few mums say it reminds them on their children! xx

  2. Tracy Pritchard says:

I have never used any of these treatments. I used bio oil for stratech marks thrugh my pregnancy and afterwards. I had a c section with m second child and have found it harder to get back into shape. i would consider having these treatments just to get that last little bit of flab back to shapex

    • Danny Danny says:

same here – Angela used bio oil throughout her first pregnancy and is using it again through this one – really good stuff but she has said she’d like a treatment once baby number 2 is here! x

  3. Danielle Baker says:

I would definitely consider using these services when I had completed my family.
Of course , I’d love to be a Yummy Mummy again but 2 c-sections have taken their toll!

  4. Nicola Sarah Parker says:

I have never used this as I’m currently pregnant with my first child now. But it seems very interesting!! Def a way for women to get their confidence back that sometimes disappears with strech marks :D

    • Danny Danny says:

That’s what i was thinking – it’s all about the confidence (said in my best Gok Wan impression!) x

  5. Carolina J. says:

I haven’t used these services but I am sure many people would.
Liked and Posted on their wall.

  6. Amanda Morrow says:

Hi, I would love to use these treatments esp the Electrostimulation and Radiofrequency but unfortunately it isnt in Northern Ireland.

    Thanks Amanda

    • Danny Danny says:

Hi Amanda, the company are growing throughout the UK so hopefully not too long until they are in N.Ireland! X

  7. Viv Gilbey says:

As a first time Mum to be I can’t say too much as don’t know yet how my body will look after birth! I’m hoping lots of Cocoa butter will help prevent stretch marks! Guess if I had the money I would consider this treatment.

  8. Donna Sadler says:

Id definitely consider using their services! I was wonder if they were suitable for scarring caused by hidranitis? x Also tweeting as xcardiffbirdx
